No Inter move for Lavezzi:Alejandro Mazzoni

Ezequiel Lavezzi's representative, Alejandro Mazzoni, has confirmed there is no offer from Inter Milan to take his client from Napoli.

Speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss, Mazzoni admitted: "I can say there has been no official offer from Inter for Lavezzi".

"I don't know if the clubs have spoken, but there is nothing concrete. If the clubs were to reach an agreement then maybe something could happen" , he added.

The Serie A giants have been linked with several stars after reports indicate that striker Samuel Eto'o is on the brink of moving to Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.

However, Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri is keen to keep Lavezzi at San Paolo, and the player has contract with Napoli until 2015.

Wolfsburg snap up Hitzlsperger

Hitzlsperger with his new manager at Wolfsburg

German sides Wolfsburg have confirmed the signing of former West Ham and German midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger.
The 29-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Bundesliga club.
Hitzlsperger was a free agent after leaving the Hammers following their relegation from the English top flight at the end of last season.
"Thomas is a player who will help us with his professional approach and his international experience," Wolfsburg coach Felix Magath told a press conference.
"I am pleased that he is now with us, because he is a player who can lead the team."
Hitzlsperger, well-known for his ferocious left foot, made his name at Aston Villa before a successful spell at Stuttgart and less auspicious one at Lazio.
He had been linked with some of Premier League clubs.
The midfielder said: "I am overjoyed that the transfer has gone through. This is the beginning of a great partnership. The club has big ambitions and a coach who epitomises this.
"I am looking forward to being part of the team, already know some of the players who I have played with at club or international level.
"I am highly motivated and very very happy to take up the challenge."
The Wolfsburg have won one and lost one of their opening two games of the Bundesliga this season.

Barcelona wins the Super Copa 2011

Andres Iniesta and his team mates with the Super Cup 2011

Lionel Messi scored one two and made one for Andres Iniesta as Barca won the Super Copa beating the rivals Real Madrid 3-2 in the second leg on Wednesday.
Iniesta scored the opening goal of the match and it was equalized by Cristiano Ronaldo five minutes later.
Messi restored Barca's lead, but French striker Karim Benzema brought the visitors level eight minutes from time as Madrid made their pressure pay.
Fabregas made his Catalan debut moments later; he left as a 16-year-old following his return from Arsenal.
The match looked headed for extra-time until Messi volleyed a late winner before Marcelo's sending off for a wild scissor tackle on Fabregas sparked an injury-time brawl in which Real midfielder Mesut Ozil and Barca striker David Villa, both of whom had already been substituted, were shown red cards, and Madrid manager Jose Mourinho appeared to tweak the ear of one of the Barcelona coaching staff.
