Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo warned arch-rivals Barcelona that his side will bring Barcelona "back down to earth". Barcelona won the La Liga title and also the Champions League last season.

Portugal Captain told"We will be a lot stronger in the new season and I am confident that we have what it takes to beat them,We will bring Barcelona back down to earth." Ronaldo concedes his side have to beat Barcelona if they are to edge ahead in the title race."In order to stop Barcelona, we'll have to beat them.We can only win the league title if we manage to defeat them"told Ronaldo.

Ronaldo had a wonderful season, and broken all Spanish goalscoring records after he netted 40 goals in La Liga.Real Madrid also won the Copa del Rey last season beating Barcelona in the finals.
