KONKO ALL SET TO JOIN LAZIO

Abdoulay Konko will undergo a medical in Rome this Friday before completing his permanent move to Lazio.

The French right-back will join the Biancoceleste in a reported 5million euro deal from Genoa.

The 27-year-old is set to sign a four-year contract with Lazio and is set to replace Stephan Lichtsteiner, who will become a Juventus player later on Friday.

Konko will become Lazio's third summer reinforcement along with German forward Miroslav Klose and Bosnian defender Senad Lulic.

Lazio finished fifth in Serie A and will play in the Europa League this season.

MILAN EYING EIGHT SUPER STARS

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has set sight on up to five Chelsea stars and two Bayern Munich stars this summer transfer window.

According to reports , Galliani is planning a major squad overhaul and has a list of eight star players that AC Milan plan to sign.

With both Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka's futures doubtful at Stamford Bridge, the wily Italian believes it is a good time to swoop for the strikers as they may not feature in new manager Andres Villas-Boas' plans next season.

It was also reported that the Portuguese is keen to steal striker Radamel Falaco from his former side Porto, which is why the Serie A giants will test the waters with a bid for the duo.

Italian Giants also eying Michael Essien, Alex and Salomon Kalou are also wanted, together with Real Madrid's Kaka and Bayern Munich duo Bastian Schweinsteiger and Arjen Robben.

Galliani has already been dissatisfied this summer, with his chase for Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas ending in failure after it became widely established that the Spaniard was looking to return home to Barcelona.
