Ignored striker Berbatov played a major role in a superb one-touch move that also involved Wayne Rooney as Anderson put the visitors in front in the 20th minute.
Park Ji-sung had added a second jus befor the half time, a combination of skill, liveliness and brute force allowed Berbatov to lash home United's third, his first goal of the tour.
Ferguson made six changes on the hour mark. Danny Welbeck did not take long to mark his appearance, although his 20-yard effort did require a huge deflection off Geoff Cameron before it flew past Goalkeeper Hall.
It maintained United's 100% record in the pre-season, although the toughest test is still to come, against the European Champions Barcelona on July 30.
