PSG Signs Midfield Duo

Paris St Germain's summer rebuild has continued with the signing of Blaise Matuidi and Jeremy Menez.

The midfield pair arrived in the French capital from St Etienne and Italian side Roma respectively.

Both men have plenty of previous experience of life in Ligue 1 and will hope to play a major role in PSG's ambitious plans for the future.

Matuidi began his career with Troyes and spent three years on their ranks before moving to St Etienne in 2007.

The 24-year-old made his senior debut for France in a Euro 2012 qualifier against Bosnia and Herzegovina in September 2010 and he has signed a three-year contract with PSG.

Menez is also 24 and made his international debut for Les Bleus a month before his new team-mate in a friendly date with Norway.

He began his career with Sochaux and spent two years with Monaco before moving to Serie A with Roma in 2008.

He has also penned a three-deal upon completing a return to his homeland.
