Bolton 2-3 Manchester City

Manchester City showed they no longer need to deepened on Carlos Tevez for goals with a fluent display in beating Bolton to go top of the Barclays Premier League table.

Arsenal 0-2 Liverpool

Liverpool achieved their first away win over Arsenal since 2000. The Gunners saw Emmanuel Frimpong red carded in a 2-0 defeat at the Emirates Stadium.

Chelsea 2-1 West Bromwich Albion

Florent Malouda saved Andre Villas-Boas' blushes on his home debut as Chelsea boss with a late winner againt West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge on saturday.

Wolves 2-0 Fulham

Wolves' impressive start to the season continued as goals from Kevin Doyle and Matt Jarvis earned them victory over Fulham at Molineux.

Alex McLeish was able to savour the appreciation of the Aston Villa faithful at the end of a credible first home victory as manager.
