ALEX MCLEISH IS THE NEW VILLA BOSS




Aston Villa have appointed former Birmingham City Manager Alex McLeish as their new manager on a three-year contract with immediate effect. Villa fans were protesting against the appointment of Former Birmingham boss outside the Villa Park.

The 52 year old Scot is an Experienced Manager and earned the Praise of Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. McLeish said"“I am honoured to have this opportunity to manage a club with such a fantastic history.The heritage, the history of success and the tradition of Aston Villa are compelling and irresistible.”

McLeish began his managerial career in 1994 and has worked with Motherwell, Hibernian, Ranger and also the Scottish national side before moving to Midlands club Birmingham City.
