Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly identified Valencia and Spanish playmaker Juan Mata as a perfect replacement for Cesc Fabregas and offered a club record £18million for Valencia midfielder.
The 23 year old was a part of European U-21 Winning Spanish team .Mata’s agent is already in talk with Gunners officials. He is also in the radar of Liverpool , Barcelona and many other European Giants.
Mata was also part of Spain's 2010 World Cup-winning squad, and was one of the shining star for Valencia last season as they claimed third place in La Liga and Qualified for Champions League 2012.
Arsenal's current record purchase stands at £13m, which they forked out for Russian international Andrey Arshavin. Arrival of Mata would make him the club record signing under Arsene Wenger.
