Gael Clichy has completed his move to Manchester City from Arsenal after passing a medical at Eastlands.
The French left-back arrived at Manchester on Monday to undergo a medical which he has passed.
The deal is believed to be around £7million for the 25-year-old, who has made over 250 appearances for Arsenal.
Clichy has been long linked with a move away from the Emirates, and Liverpool were the front runners for his signature.
But City is understood to have offered the player a better pay package than the Anfield club.
Clichy was currently Arsenal's longest-serving player currently at the club and was the only member of Arsenal's famous Invincibles team still at the club.
