Bayern Munich has condemned a section of fans who ill-treated Goal keeper Manuel Neuer on his first appearance for the club.
The Germany number one moved to the Allianz Arena from Schalke this summer. But Neuer has long been unpopular with the club's fans because he is a self-confessed Schalke supporter. He was given a hostile reception when he played in the first half of Bayern's 15-0 win over local Italian side Trentino.
Some fans displayed a banner reading: "You can save as many balls as you like. We will never accept you in our shirt."
