Romania striker Ciprian Marica has left German side Stuttgart after having the final year of his contract cancelled.
The 25-year-old's deal was due to expire next June. But it was terminated by mutual consent, the German Bundesliga club announced.
"We wish Ciprian all the best for the future," sporting director Fredi Bobic said on the club's official website.
Marica joined Stuttgart from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2007.
